Written by I hate to bust your bubble, but as a business owner, you must know that cash is not king. Wisdom is king. In a business, cash is just liquid wealth. You liquify ideas, operations, investments, etc. However, it is not king, wisdom is.
Wisdom is King
Wisdom liquify’s cash. It melts the assets into liquid, then gives it efficiency and lubrication to positively impact the business. Without wisdom, cash is dead. We have bought mammon’s lie that cash is king, but cash is dead and it is servant to wisdom. For wisdom is what causes us to get wealth so that we can establish God’s covenant with us (see Deut 8:18).
Saying cash is king is like saying that the blood flowing through your veins is king. Cash to the business is as blood is to our body. However, we don’t feel that blood is our king, do we? We have faith that we will always have blood flowing through our body.
Why? Because we trust that as long as we use wisdom, the blood in our body will keep flowing. However, we understand that if we eat poorly, we’ll clog up our arteries and the blood will stop flowing.
It is the same with business. You need wisdom to eat the right things in your business and exercise with the abilities that your business has.
Seek wisdom and cash will come…
