Written by There is nothing like looking up at a blue sky with pure sunshine and no clouds in sight. The beauty of it can overwhelm me. A few days ago, we had one of those blue sky days in Atlanta. I remember staring up into the sky and seeing it’s vastness and thinking how big our God really is.
I wished that every day was a blue sky, that it didn’t have to rain or be cold. But, the Lord reminded me that we do have a blue sky every day…no matter what. Like many people, my view of life had been warped by hurts, confusion, disobedience, and a misunderstanding of who God really is.
Rising Above
Jesus challenges us to look beyond the clouds, to rise above and see life from His perspective. From His perspective we can see the blue sky every day. We can rise above the clouds, the worries of this world, the cash flow problems of this week, the debt collectors calling our phone, the whisper of the enemy, and come to the place of provision; where we drink from the goodness of God; where we eat from His faithfulness; where we rest in His arms.
God has a never ending Blue Sky of provision for every need just waiting for us. It is His open heaven, His Blue Sky and He gives it to us NOW!!
It’s not a matter of doing, but a matter of being. We live from His perspective to receive His promises.
As entrepreneurs we have access to the Blue Sky of God’s favor, wealth, blessing, and multiplication. If we are children of God, then we don’t have to fear that God has given us a business or ministry to do on our own. We can access His Blue Sky of favor through our simple adoration and asking of Him.
