Praying For What We Already Have

Why do we pray for what we already have?

If Jesus died on the cross, then we have been given access to everything we need.  Because of His resurrection, we don’t need to ask for from sin, we already have it.  We don’t need to ask for wealth even, because we already have it.

You already have everything you need.

While praying this morning, God wanted to show me a practical way of seeing this .  He told me to pick up a pine cone.  So, I picked up the pine cone and started asking God to send me a pine cone.  I was lifting up the pine cone and asking Him to give me what I already had.

I started laughing, because it seemed silly, but that’s what we look like when we ask for what we already have…

Every time we ask God to free us from the bondage of or make our businesses prosperous, we are asking God for the “pine cone” that we already have.

Why do we do this?  We ask God for these things because we are looking at the natural and not looking into the Hope realm.

The Hope realm is the unseen of God’s .  It’s the place of where we see His for us.  From that place, we can see the freedom He has already given us and from His we can also see all of the in Christ.

Walking in freedom, , healing, and all of the promises of God come from one thing:  .  What you believe is what you have.  If you believe you are in lack (looking at your natural circumstances), then you will manifest lack.  But, if you believe you are in (even if the situation is the opposite), you will attract .

Business Strategies From Heaven

What is the difference between people who run their business and their life apart from and those who do it with ?

You can be the most ethical in the world. You can know all of the and prosperity . You can love your employees like Christ.

But, if you aren’t intimate with the Father, you are probably leaving kingdom solutions for your business on ’s conference table.

Father God has intimate plans for you and your business that no eye has seen and no ear has heard. How can we showcase the if we are as usual, according to the world’s economy and way of doing things?

Business according to the bible is easy. Anyone can take and apply it to their business, but how many can hear business strategies from Heaven and apply it to their business?

I’ll tell you who: YOU.

God has called you into His to hear from His . And despite what you probably believe, God cares more about your business than you realize. He cares about what you care about. You don’t have to separate those things anymore.

Walk into the arms of your Father and receive His love for you and your business. It will translate you from Christian business to Kingdom business. From a principled based company into an intimacy based company.

Receive strategies from Heaven and be blessed!

Not Getting What You Want From the Disney Store???

This afternoon Elisha and I took our kids to the at the mall. As soon as we walked in, two different kids started screaming because their were taking toys away from them. You see, they wanted that new toy that would make them happy, but their wouldn’t buy it for them, so the kids pitched a fit.

Who knows why the parents didn’t buy the toys. It could have been , or timing, or maybe they’re trying to take a stand against their kids getting what they want all of the time.

Of course I thought to myself, “I’m glad that my kids don’t do that kind of stuff.”

Wouldn’t you know it… Not five minutes later, my son was crying for the same reason. He wanted a toy that we just weren’t going to get him this time.

It was a combination of timing, money, and not letting him have his way this time. In fact, we were already getting him something else, but he wasn’t satisfied with that so he started to cry.

Life In the Disney Store

How many times do we do this in our own lives? It feels like takes us to the Disney store of life and shows us all the wonderful things we could have, but then says, “No. Not right now.”

We become so frustrated that we form new around prosperity and . One side of the coin says, “If you be a good little Christian, daddy will buy you everything you want.” The other side of the coin says, “You don’t need this stuff, so don’t even ask. You should just be thankful for what you have.”

But what is God really saying?

I would argue that our Father in desires to give us …ALL THE TIME!!! However, it doesn’t always work out that way…or does it?

You have to ask yourself, “Do I have God’s on life or my own?” When you go to the Disney store of life and you ask your Father in Heaven for that new toy are you seeing from His or yours?

My son couldn’t understand why we were telling him no and that ultimately it was better that we didn’t buy the toy this time. He didn’t have our perspective.

As saints that are maturing, we need to get the Father’s perspective on life in the Disney store. The only way we can do this is to know His towards us first. Until we have settled that God is good all of the time, regardless of what happens to us, we will always struggle with His goodness towards us.

Let’s press forward in that. Take this perspective to your business, your job, your marriage, your life…what is God’s perspective? When you start to see from His perspective it will change things…I guarantee it!

Fighting Your Comfort Zone With The Sweet Spot

Ah, the beauty of comfort.

Isn’t it just easier to live in comfort. The blessedness of our causes us to live from comfort rather than our Sweet Spot.

Here’s what I mean. Our is to live from our greatest strength (the Sweet Spot), but if we don’t believe that we can stay in the Sweet Spot we will settle for comfort.

This thing takes work. But, the beauty of it is that we have a savior who understands and sympathizes with us.

Living In Desire

It’s about living in desire instead of lack (want). Desire says, “Stay in the Sweet Spot, where ’s is.” But, lack says, “You can’t do that, it’s impossible. You must settle for comfort, after all, isn’t it about ?”

Of course we don’t consciously say these things, but they are hidden under our mask of busyness. These agreements lie in obsolescence, under the veil of prosperity, or even the of staying poor.

Let’s repent of the comfort zone and live from the Sweet Spot. It’s not easy, but it’s necessary.

“Lord take us into the Sweet Spot of your heart. For it is there we can truly live and move and have our being.”
